If you've found your way here, you may already know that my name is Bill and I enjoy writing songs about God. If you did not know that, well now you do. I hope to be faithful with the songs I write. I'm not sure I know how to do that, but I think this website is a start. It contains the lyrics, chord charts, mp3's, even the stories behind the songs. And it is all free to you. So look around. Enjoy. And thanks for stopping by.

Psalm 104

download chord chart // download mp3

(verse)
May Your glory, Lord, last forever
May You rejoice in all You have made
The earth trembles at Your glance, O Lord
At Your touch, the mountains burst into flame

(pre-chorus)
Be pleased, Lord God, with the thoughts of my heart
As my soul rejoices, how great You are

(chorus)
You are robed in splendor and clothed in light
And You spread out the starry curtain of night
I’ll rejoice in You, Lord, as long as I live
I will praise You, my God, to my very last breath

(Recorded May 2005 at Lighthouse Christian Church in Knoxville, TN.)

I spent nearly an entire year, during my morning study/quiet time, memorizing and meditating over Psalm 104 . In my opinion, it contains some the richest and loftiest imagery of God ever written. It still moves my soul to read how incredibly high a view of God the author obviously had. I often wonder, "Do I think that highly of God?"; "Is my view of God anywhere near as lofty as the Pslamist?" Cause it should be.

This song is simple, but it remains one of my favorites.
